ENPI EAST/ CROSS BORDER COOPERATION TO TRAIN BUSINESS MANAGERS

Coaching sessions for border business companies are taking place within the framework of the EU funded project “Create4Compete – Creativity for boosting Competence and Competitiveness“. International coaching specialists are supporting companies to develop their business, to find new ideas, to better use their resources. And to learn from each other.
The training sessions are addressed to businessmen and heads of companies from Marijampolė and Kaunas regions, and the Kaliningrad Oblast. The third coaching session has taken place on February 20th and the fourth one is coming up on March 20th.
The overall objective of the “Create4compete” project is to encourage competitiveness and cross-border cooperation of SMEs and business support structures among the Lithuanian counties of Marijampole and Kaunas, and the Kaliningrad region of the Russian Federation. The project intends to coach 130 heads of companies in order to raise the level of their entrepreneurship, cooperation and in the end their competitiveness.
The “Create4compete” project is funded within the framework of the Lithuania-Poland- Russia ENPI Cross-Border Cooperation (CBC) programme and is implemented by the Kaunas Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Crafts (Lithuania), together with its partners: the Kaunas Regional Development Agency (Lithuania), the Kaliningrad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Russia) and the Fund “Victoria” (Russia).
With a total allocation of 124 million EUR the Lithuania-Poland-Russia ENPI CBC Programme, intends to develop a zone of shared stability, security and prosperity, involving a significant degree of economic social and political co-operation.
