ENPI EAST/ UNECE ORGANIZES STUDY TOUR ON IMPLEMENTATION OF STRATEGIC ENVIRONMENTAL ASSESSMENT

A study tour for Eastern partners on the ‘Application of Strategic Environmental Assessment
 (SEA) at the national level in the field of urban planning, waste management, agriculture and
 energy sector’ will take place in the Czech Republic from 1 till 5 December as part of an
 EU-funded project, aiming to find out more about SEA systems on the example of the Czech
 Republic.
 
 The tour is organized by the secretariat to the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe
 (ECE) Convention on Environmental Impact Assessment in a Transboundary Context (Espoo
 Convention) and its Protocol on Strategic Environmental Assessment (Protocol on SEA) with
 the financial support of the European Union funded programme “Greening Economies in the
 Eastern Neighbourhood” (EaP GREEN) and the Swedish Environmental Protection
