MAC/MACEDONIAN COMPANIES TO SAVE EUR 3 MILLION IN ENERGY IN 2012

www.emg.rs - The Western Balkans Sustainable Energy Financing Facility (WeBSEFF), a European Bank for
Reconstruction and Development (EBRD)/European Union (EU) programme for funding of Western Balkans
sustainable energy projects, has supported 15 projects in Macedonia in the amount of EUR 4,4 million indebtedness.
Total annual savings for all projects are assessed at approximately EUR 3 million, the average return per investment
for energy efficiency projects is three years, whereas the payback period for renewable sources projects is about four
years.
