The events are organised by the European Neighborhood Programme for Agriculture and Rural
Development (ENPARD) and the EU-funded project “Supporting Agricultural Cooperation in
Georgia”, which is run by the Biological Farming Association.
The aim of the demo day is to introduce interested farmers to various modern methods of tomato
growing, including intensive farming through innovative tomato grafting techniques, and organic
production using drip irrigation and mulching techniques. The guests of the demo day will have
the opportunity to compare the strengths and weaknesses of organic and conventional production
methods and to taste tomatoes produced with different production systems…(link)
