Description of the contract:
The purpose of this project is to upgrade the radiation protection training centre of Banja Luka by supplying equipment necessary for the implementation of practical training programmes on radiation protection. Equipment includes: items for practical tests with radiation sources, computers, software and books on radiation protection.

Lot 1: equipment for practical tests with radiation sources:
Mobile X-ray unit; radiation sources; radiation survey meter; scintillation detector system; portable alpha/beta/gamma contamination monitor; lead, aluminium and copper foils; lead apron; lead thyroid shield; dosimetry phantom; sensitometer; densitometer; lead protective screens; image quality test object for fluoroscopy; lead shielded safe with drawer; forceps; laboratory coats, gloves, overshoes, coveralls; lead bricks; photometers; GM counting system; KAP (kerma area product)/DAP (dose area product) meter; image quality test phantom for analogue and for digital radiographic and fluorographic X-ray installations.
Lot 2: computers, software, books and manuals on radiation protection:
Books; electronic learning material; shielding calculation manuals; notebooks; patient dose calculation software tool; computer projector; radiation protection software.
Eligibility and rules of origin:
Participation is open to all legal persons, participating either individually or in a grouping (consortium) of tenderers, which are established in a Member State of the European Union or in a country or territory of the regions covered and/or authorised by the specific instruments applicable to the programme under which the contract is financed. All goods supplied under this contract must originate in one or more of these countries. Participation is also open to international organisations. Participation of natural persons is directly governed by the specific instruments applicable to the programme under which the contract is financed.
