EU FUNDED PROJECT MANAGEMENT SUPPORT TO THE NEW COMPUTERIZED TRANSIT SYSTEM (NCTS) IMPLEMENTATION/ SENIOR SHORT-TERM EXPERT; SYSTEM ARCHITECTURE/HW

Background

Under IPA 2008, as foreseen, upon completion of the project, the Customs Administration will have implemented the Customs Transit Control System in conformity with Common Transit Convention (CTC), in order to assist in the control and management of the movement of goods by the electronic exchange of transaction information between CTC countries, and put in place the necessary organisational and procedural changes in order to operate the systems effectively and efficiently. The main objective of the project is to support the adaptation of Trans - European transit procedure in the Customs Administration. A big role in overall project is implementation of the New Computerised Transit System (NCTS) application in the Customs Administration. The purpose of the project is to provide management support and quality assurance for the overall project. Short-Term Expert; System Architecture/HW expertise will contribute the main objective by analysing and giving recommendations of the proposed systems architecture for NCTS Implementation Project.

Eligibility

- Bachelor degree in Systems Architecture and/or Information Technology or at least 5 years of relevant professional experience in system
  architecture.
- Masters degree will be considered as an advantage.
- Fluent English, both written and spoken
- Macedonian language is an asset
- Minimum 5 years of professional working experience in areas of Systems HW Architecture.

Requested services

- Work closely with Experts from AAM and the Customs Administration in evaluating the progress of the production and implementation of
  the architecture environment required by NCTS system;
- Work closely with Experts from AAM and the Customs Administration in evaluating the Systems Architecture/HW of the NCTS system;
- Support in evaluation of the architecture needed by the NCTS system;
- Support in evaluation of the documentation produced for systems architecture.
