Background

Under IPA 2008, as foreseen, upon completion of the project, the Customs Administration will have implemented the Customs Transit Control System in conformity with Common Transit Convention (CTC), in order to assist in the control and management of the movement of goods by the electronic exchange of transaction information between CTC countries, and put in place the necessary organisational and procedural changes in order to operate the systems effectively and efficiently. The main objective of the project is to support the adaptation of Trans-European transit procedure in the Customs Administration. A big role in overall project is implementation of the New Computerised Transit System (NCTS) application in the Customs Administration. The purpose of the project is to provide management support and quality assurance for the overall project. Short-term Expert Visibility expertise will contribute the main objective by completing an awareness campaign according to the EU Visibility Guidelines in all over the country for the stakeholders related to NCTS. The main objective is to give a clear understanding to economic operators, other national administrations on what the NCTS application means for each of them as finalised within its full functionality and what actually NCTS is, including its legal base, coverage, benefits and functionalities.

Eligibility

- Bachelor degree in media, PR and/or communication or at least 5 years of relevant professional experience in EU visibility
- Fluent English, both written and spoken
- Macedonian language is an asset
- Minimum 5 years of professional working experience.

Requested services

- Organize press conferences, presentations, seminars and meetings;
- Provide information about the progress of development of NCTS and the results on the website of Customs Administration.
