Description
The World Future Council (WFC) is a global forum of 50 respected personalities who give voice to the shared ethical values of citizens worldwide. The Council works closely with policy-makers, civil society and business to identify and implement best policies to protect the rights of future generations. The World Future Council is looking for interns to be based at the WFC head office in Hamburg for the period of 6 months, starting in January 2014
Eligibility
For Media and Communications Intern
- Student or University Graduate
- Excellent writing and communication skills in both German and English
- Team working skills and flexibility
- Social Media affinity
- Competency with MS Office programs
- Experience in typo3 or other CMS
- An EU work permit is required
For Intern – Sustainable Ecosystems
- Academic studies in a related field (environmental sciences, social sciences etc.)
- Knowledge of environmental policy and international affairs; knowledge of agricultural science, sustainable food systems and marine
conservation approaches are an asset
- Excellent English communication skills, German and other additional languages are an asset
- Ability to work independently and as part of an international team
- Good computer and organisational skills, good representation skills
- Capability of working independently in a fast-paced and multi-tasking environment
- Be reliable and capable of paying close attention to detail
- An EU work permit is required
Remuneration
The WFC offers interns support for living costs, an attractive international work environment as well as training possibilities. Candidates should have EU citizenship or a relevant visa for the time of the internship.
