Background 
                                                                          Max. Grant amount: EUR 330.000

Historically relations between the EU and Georgia were based on the Partnership and Cooperation Agreement which entered into force in 1999 and the European Neighbourhood Policy (ENP) Action Plan adopted in 2006. Recently Georgia and EU signed the Association Agreement, Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Agreement on 27 June, 2014.
The mutually agreed political priorities for cooperation between Georgia and the EU, including in the areas of Justice, Freedom and Security, include a number of commitments on improving migration policies and enhancing border management.

Size of grants

Any grant requested under this call for proposals must fall between the following minimum and maximum amounts:
  - minimum amount: EUR 300.000
  - maximum amount: EUR 330.000

Eligibility

In order to be eligible for a grant, the lead applicant must:
  - be a legal person
  - be non-profit-making
  - be a specific type of organisation such as: non-governmental organisation
  - be established in1 a Member State of the European Union or Georgia
  - be directly responsible for the preparation and management of the action with the co-applicant(s) and affiliated entity(ies), not acting as an
    intermediary
  - have at least three years' experience of working in the field in Georgia or ENI countries at the time of the submission of an application.
