Background
The global objective of this Call for proposals is to encourage the activity of the various actors in the society different than the Government in order to influence the country’s economy competitiveness. The specific objective is to increase the capacity and awareness of various actors and stakeholders other than the government sector in term of increased competitiveness of the country’s economy as well as to strengthen their role in the design and implementation of the national strategic documents on competitiveness.
Eligibility
- be a legal person (individuals are not eligible, nor are informal alliances or initiatives without legal status) registered at least two years before
the call is launched.
- be non-profit-making
- be a specific type of organization such as: non-governmental organizations, sector-oriented trade association, chamber of commerce,
business intermediary organization, sectoral business promotion council, universities or any other non-governmental associations or
independent foundations
- be established in the Beneficiary Country or a in Member State of the European Union or countries that are beneficiaries of the IPA instrument
- be able to demonstrate their experience and capacity to manage activities corresponding in scale and complexity with those for which a grant
is requested (business climate, economic development, competiveness of the economy or business entities, SME`s development, education
or training of the business entities and their employees, R&D or innovation, green economy and/or sustainable development.) and
- be directly responsible for the preparation and management of the action with the co-applicant(s) and affiliated entity(ies), not acting as an
intermediary.
Size of grants
Any grant requested under this call for proposals must fall between the following minimum and maximum amounts/ percentages of total eligible costs of the action:
- Min. amount: € 60.000 - Min percentage: 60 % of the total eligible costs of the action.
- Max. amount: € 200.000 - Max percentage: 100 % of the total eligible costs of the action
