Objectives
The global objective of this action is: consolidated and improved Kosovo Police for an effective and publicly accountable police service that respects human rights, the rule of law, operating according to international standards and practices and provides significant success in fighting all types of crimes and providing public safety.
The specific objectives of this action are: to increase investigating capacities and intelligence-led policing strategy (ILP) of Kosovo Police in specialised fields (cybercrime, radicalisation, P-CVE, CT,etc.) and to further develop coordination mechanisms of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA), Kosovo Police (KP), Prosecutors Office (PO) and other Rule of Law Agencies to address challenges in the fight against different types of crimes.
Eligibility
In order to be eligible for a grant, the lead applicant must:
- be a legal person, and
- be a specific type of organisation such as: a competent Government Department, Public body, or
relevant mandated body of a Government Department or public body / authority of a European Union
Member State in the fields related to this action and
- be directly responsible for the preparation and management of the action with the co-applicant(s) and
affiliated entity(ies), not acting as an intermediary.
Co-applicant(s)
Co-applicants should include at least: One (1) competent Government Department, Public body, or relevant mandated body of a Government Department or public body authority of a European Union Member State in the fields related to this action (Co-applicant must be from a different Member State then the lead applicant).
Budget
The grant subject of this call under IPA financing has a maximum value of EUR 4,500,000.00.
