Objective

The global objective of this call for proposals is:

To support access of Syrians under Temporary Protection, Persons under International Protection and host community members to higher education for ensuring that they have the necessary skills to become self-reliant and to contribute to economic growth and development of Turkey.

The specific objective of this call for proposals is:

Through the provision of scholarships and related services to support Syrians under Temporary Protection, Persons under International Protection and host community members to enrol, continue and graduate from higher education in pursuing undergraduate/graduate studies.


Eligibility of applicants

In order to be eligible for a grant, the lead applicant must:

- be a legal person;
- be non-profit-making;
- be a specific type of organisation such as: non-governmental organisation, public sector operator, local authority, international (inter-
  governmental) organisation as defined by Article 156 of the EU Financial Regulation;
- be established in a Member State of the European Union or Turkey;
  (this obligation does not apply to international organisations)
- be directly responsible for the preparation and management of the action with the co-applicant(s) and affiliated entity(ies), not acting as an
  intermediary, and
- be able to demonstrate their experience and capacity to manage activities corresponding in scale and complexity with those for which a grant is
  requested.


Size of grants

Any grant requested under this call for proposals must fall between the following minimum and maximum amounts:

- minimum amount: EUR 5,000,000
- maximum amount: EUR 10,000,000.
