Objective
The global objective of this call for proposals is:
To enhance the alignment of Kosovo home affairs sectors to the European standards and best practices and to improve the promotion of rule of law and fundamental rights in Kosovo.
The specific objective of this call for proposals is:
To strengthen capacities and improve the performance of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and its dependant institutions to align effectively with the EU acquis and increase public safety and security in Kosovo.
Eligibility of applicants
In order to be eligible for a grant, the lead applicant must:
• be a legal person;
• be a specific type of organisation such as: a competent Government Department, Public body, or relevant mandated body of a Government
Department or public body / authority of a European Union Member State, preferably in the fields related to this Action (Home Affairs);
• be established in a Member State of the European Union, and
• be directly responsible for the preparation and management of the Action with the co-applicant(s) and affiliated entity(ies), not acting as an
intermediary.
Size of grants
Any grant requested under this call for proposals must fall between the following minimum and maximum amounts:
• minimum amount: EUR 6,000,000.00
• maximum amount: EUR 6,500,000.00.
