Central European University is pleased to announce its call for applications for academic year 2015/2016. Accredited in the United States and Hungary, Central European University (CEU) offers English-language graduate programs in the social sciences and humanities, law,public policy, business management, economics, environmental sciences and policy, and mathematics.
CEU is committed to attracting talented students and scholars from around the world, and provides generous, merit-based scholarships and fellowships to over 80% of its master’s students!
Master Scholarships
The Full CEU Scholarship covers:
- the full cost of tuition and medical insurance;
- a monthly stipend of HUF 96,000 (EUR 312) designed to assist with the cost of meals and miscellaneous expenses;
- housing in the CEU Residence Center for students coming from outside Budapest.
The Partial CEU Scholarship covers:
- the full cost of tuition and medical insurance;
- a monthly stipend of HUF 50,000 (EUR 160) designed to assist with the cost of meals and miscellaneous expenses;
- housing in the CEU Residence Center for students coming from outside Budapest.
Doctoral Scholarships
The full doctoral scholarship covers tuition and medical insurance. In addition, full fellowship recipients are awarded a monthly stipend of HUF 220,000 (EUR 700) calculated to cover educational and accommodation costs (Economics PhD students receive a monthly stipend of HUF 250,000 – EUR 800). Students need to budget additionally for travel, recreation, and incidentals, which can vary with the individual.
